Job Description

We seek a Product Marketing Manager to support the needs of the business and to assist in the development and roll out of programs and plans to drive meter acquisition, customer retention and added-value product sell-through. Help shore up our position in existing markets and extend our reach into new areas. Improve our ability to capitalize on new opportunities for growth across all of the brands we promote, and channels in which we operate.

Partner Marketing

  • Conceive, coordinate, develop, document and implement 3rd party partner programs to drive customer stickiness and incremental revenue
  • Work with web development resources to construct and deploy supporting web presence for programs
  • Direct the development of all print and digital collateral materials in support of launch and rollout of partner program initiatives

 Offers and Promotion

  • Assist in the development of new offers and promotions
  • Facilitate documentation of all new offers and promotions
  • Coordinate internal approval of new offers and promotions
  • Work with internal IT/MIS departments to manage promotions implementation
  • Monthly management of website and other promotional platforms with promotional tracking codes, rates and other updates

Social Media/SEM/SEO

  • Develop the content calendar
  • Create, schedule and post engaging social media content on all active handles
  • With guidance and approval from the manager, and working with compliance departments and customer service, act as a brand voice to monitor and engage with social media chatter on a daily basis
  • With SEM/SEO agencies, work to proactively improve social media standing and site ranking, and promotion of offers via Google Adwords and other platforms
  • Help identify, recommend and create programs and promotions to grow membership and engagement within the social media space
  • Manage social media advertising and analytics to quantify and qualify the success of each campaign

 Email Programs

  • Set up and administer customer and acquisition email campaigns
  • Determine appropriate schedule/frequency of email to abandon carts, winback, co-registration and other in-house and outside sourced lists of opportunity
  • Build and maintain email templates
  • Construct the plan, coordinate content and administer recurring newsletters
  • Consult with stakeholders for quality assurance
  • Test campaigns for rendering across email clients
  • Track progress of campaigns and update stakeholders during meetings

Creative Editing

  • Design / update monthly sales collateral used by outside sales teams
  • Possess competency of creative design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign
  • Basic understanding of photography concepts and basic editing skills
  • Ability to film simple movies and edit using iMovie is a plus

 Other projects as assigned.

 Desired Skills and Experience

  • Marketing or related Degree, Diploma or certificate
  • Minimum of 4-5 years marketing related experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords and Display Network tools
  • Copy-writing ability
  • Proof reading and review of materials, pages/processes with an eye toward upholding a rigorous compliance standard
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress CMS platform
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal who understands the interaction between strategy, content and audience engagement
  • Demonstrate proficiency in proofreading and editing materials
  • High integrity, energy, and a desire to work in a results-oriented environment
  • Possess a positive attitude, be willing to learn and have a great personality

 Additional information

Willingness to travel in the Northeast into our serviceable territories, as required. Ability to work occasional weekends based on the planned marketing system updates and/or scheduled events
